Timming Belt just broke?
I was getting ready to leave my parking spot and the car (91 Civic DX sedan 1.5L) turned over but definately sounds like a belt broke. I sounds like its just spinning in a circle. I wouldn't have bent valves would I?, I gave it no acceleration at all.
I just went outside a few minutes ago, planning on taking the car to get some food. Turned the car over once, sounded like it was going to turn over but all of a sudden it just keep turning over. When I turn the ignition it sounds like its grinding. The car is a auto sedan if that helps. I was going 0 miles an hours, just in the parking lot starting my car.

I'm thinking its the starter now, because there was a sound like starting your car when it's already started. I got a extrememy high pricing for a starter though, at Shucks.

Open you hood, remove the upper timing cover and CHECK THE BELT!
If the belt it there, trouble shoot, if it's turning over fine then it's not your starter. Check for spark and gas.

If the starter won't kick the gear out and touch the flywheel, it could do this. My suggestion, since it's already been turned over numberous times, is to check the belt, or to see if the crank will move at all when the key is turned. I'd really suggest taking the starter out and checking it that way, but again - it's been cranked already, and one starter bolt is a bitch to get at.
If the belt is broke, you would see the crank move, but not the distributor's rotor (after removing the cap). If it's the starter, neither would move.

Happened to me on my '88 Rex Si back in '97, broke right after startup but I got lucky and did not bend any valves since I did not keep trying to start it.
But you really need to try SOME diagnostics before you post such easy to answer questions.
