Default Rota D2...16x7...?

<FONT COLOR="blue">Has anyone picked up a set of the Rota D2 in 16x7? According to Rota, that size was to be released in Dec '05.

Post pictures if you have them.

that guy has the 17's...and they are way different from my friends real 17" sp1's. take a look, i also posted a pic of the real rims on the last page to compare it. you can tell the differences if you know.

not so much the offset, but i think its more of the spoke design/lip. i've seen a wide range of sp1's and have never seen the real ones look like that d2 in the link i posted.

dont look that great in person..
fake rivets kinda throw it off, plus it has like just as much lip as the gt3's

try SubyDude or mach 3, good rota dealers...

Maybe they were trying to do a hybrid SP1/Work Meister combination. It seems the Meisters tend to stick out a bit, from what I remember.

yeah I think you're right but I don't know why Rota would try combining two different rims into one.
