In my opinion, Honda's are reliable because the parts that make up the car are the best parts around. So when you replace Honda parts with aftermarket parts, you are compromising the reliability. Just my opinion. Others will have different opinions.

sounds like a good deal, it should be just as reliable as any other honda as long as maintanece was done routinely and was not abused...

It'll be fine, just sell the rims and body kit as soon as you get it and do some REAL mods. Also, new tranny or rebuilt? that'll matter.

I like buying unmodified cars, and modding them myself. Because you never know what you are going to get. Someone that adds these aftermarket parts obviously wants to go fast. And thats probably what they did. Also, when someone like that is selling a car at a good price, there is always a reason... And no, its probably not cause he wants to hook you up.

true.

but if you r smart you can get yourself a beauty of a ride ... $3800 is about what i paid for my 94 ex unmodded... clean as a whistle and 100% intact.

best advice... pull a carfax and se how amny owners there were... then if possible get under the hood of it and poke around ... do a compression test if they let ya!

best money youll ever spend man! GL!!!

#1... pull the carfax... its worth the $20 TRUST ME.

noone sells a car for no reason at all. just be aware of the situation...

2... ask for maintenance records (timing belt, water pump... etc)

3... chech the front and rear frame for kinking (accident damage)

4... check everything out man!!! dont be scared!

tires, suspension, interior gauges, dome light! buy it!

i totally agree with BLKFLSH, it seems around here, people who put aftermarket parts on their hondas but dont put hardly any money into it all end up with a crappier ride than they did stock.

not saying this in msinskys case, right now my accord is completely stock, i will be adding a cai next week and maybe headers but i doubt it, just go through carfax like NYC said, and definitly get a look under the hood and see what your dealing with. If everything turns out ok then id say go for it, just keep up with your **** so the car keeps running awesome, i keep my accord clean as hell and well matenienced, right now im only pushing 130k, and counting on this car going another 130k at the least.

Golden rule when buying a used car.ALWAYS ALWAYS ,,have it inspected by a shop before you buy it ..carfax is not totally realible , thing could have happened to car since last report ..and something could be wrong with car at present time ..Have them do a compression test as well

do all that ^^^
I dont think you should expect too much problems out of an Accord w/ that millage and w/ a good maintaince record.
good luck
