Default D16Z6 ON D16Y7

yay\nay? i have a 99 dx coupe with the D16Y7, and i just picked up a cheap D16Z6 head, and planned on swapping the d16Y7 head out for the d16z6. is this even going to work? since the B series isnt in my price range right now, i'm just going to do this and build up a turbo kit. i know the power output wont be TOO large (even if it does work).

i dont have too much experience with the D series, sorry for the stupid question

Haha. you should work in sales.

Although you may be better off getting a y8 head, you can do this as well.. It may be a little more work.

I would swap to the Z6 head.

Get a P28 and an OBD-II to OBD-I harness. Eventually you're going to have to go OBD-I to tune, so you might as well do it now.
