Default new ecu...now car is slower

ok i have a obd1 91 integra Rs with a 93 ls engine(i fully converted the car to obd1 using my old 93 integra wiring harnesses) i was running a auto pr4 ecu and being that the auto ls engines had egr valves. i swapped my auto intake manifold for a manual one off a 94 integra ls, and here where the problem comes in. after the swap i recieved a lumpy /jumpy idle.... my fix ws going to be to swap the pr4 to manual using the DIY guide on pmfi.org, but seeing that my ecu had been set for a egr valve from the factor i couldnt get rid of my problem by converting.

i bought a auto p75...for one because that all i could find and two they are easier to convert to manual,...seeing that the auto 94-95 ls's didnt come with egr valves....also the only code his ecu would throw is the auto tranny code. i threw the ecu to give it a test run and come to find out the car felt under powered and ball-less. is there that much of a difference between the pr4's and p75's or is my DA not able to accept a p75 ecu right?

thanks in advance

also should i upgrade the fuse rating? i believe the 94+ tegs needed a 15amp ecu fuse. mine only needed 10amps

94 and below auto p75's do NOT look for the fitv(fast idle thermo valve) and the 95 and up do...if you have an intake manny from a manual integra(which does not have the fitv).. the 95 and up auto ecu will make ur idle jump until it warms up(because its trying to read the valve which is not there, in turn making idle jump)...sorry if its really confusing..i had to do a lot of searching...ill try to find the threads...

ps-if you had a manual ecu the fitv does not come into play..either get a 94 and below auto p75 or a manual one...pr4's suck imo...i had too much trouble with them

the fitv came on i believe the auto and manual ls engines, my 93 auto manifold had it on the manifold itself and the 94 manifold has in under the TB. the fitv isnt electricall controled so i dont believe its effecting me. my idle problem is fixed when i swapped in the p75,,,,,the new ecu stopped trying to look for the egr valve. my problem now is my car feels much slower than what it was.

it just might be me.

my problem was fixed by the method i explained...and as for you power loss problem...i think all the ecu's for ls motors about 91 have close to the same fuel map...i think its ur head

the problem is i dont have a 91 engine, i have a 93 engine...and im also running obd1 due to the harnesses i swapped into the car from my old 93.

i think that we are confusing the part...lol, the fast idle thermo valve came on the all 90-95 ls engines, they stopped coming on manual ls engines in 96+.

thanks for the help, i think its in my head...iuno ill get into it more tomm....im heading off to sleep...tired and my eyes are ******* up

ok welp if worked out most of the other problems...the car is still alil less ball-less than what it was, but i would sacrifice the power i lost for the idle that i fixed.

im just wondering now is since the 94+ ecus ran a 15amp fuse....should that mean i should upgrade the amps from my stock ecu(10amp)?

I would leave the fuse alone unless it blows out.
