my friend put a 95 ls motor in his 96 hatch CX. 5spd. the motor starts up but it revs up to like 3.5K rpms and stays there for a few sec then goes back to like 2K and just keeps slowly doing it. its not the iac sensor doing it either cause i blocked it off just to see if it helped and it didnt. the timing is set exactly right. we are using an obd2 ls ecu and an obd2 ls distributor. the one CFS or whatever it is we tapped into the other sensor wiring like ive seen ppl do on this site. the IAC has also been fixed so its a 2 wire . we get no check engine code at all. spark plugs are in right order and all. when i pull plug wires 4 and 1 it makes no difference,but it is getting spark in all of them even if i unplug the injector plugs 2 at a time it hardly makes a diff. all other sensors are connected , i cant figure it out.all injectors are working too. i listened to them . they all fire alot then stop. so something is causing car to feed alot of gas and then hardly none. it smells really rich too. . when the gas is pressed it basically pops and dies. any ideas??
