Default I HATE residue from tar, but my rear floor is complete!

Got bored and decided to take care of my rear floor. After 3 days of work, it's finally done haha. God, that residue from the sound deadening material was terrible.

Luckily the previous owner removed most of the tar, so here's the before shot:

After 5 hours of scraping and scrubbing:

And finally after priming and painting:

Thanks for looking!

that stuff is a bitch, what'd you use to remove it? Dry ice, scraper and heat gun, etc...?

Well the big tar squares were gone when I bought the shell, all that was left was the tedious part. I went through with a flathead screwdriver, and steel wool.

Got rid of those ugly ABS wires, too.

Damn that looks clean as hell. How exactly did u go about doing all of this? I pulled my rear carpet to do that one day and I took one look and figured there was no way in hell it would ever be clean, but apparently I was wrong. You should post up what all steps you used.
