Yeah, B16 cams. This guy said it was ITR everything, but no, it is a 95 date code B16 head with a mild port job and B16 cams and B16 valve plus springs(singles on the ex side!). Great. Now he says all sales are final and all that **** wile his buddy has a set of CTR cams for sale....hmmm.....

this is a 1997 civic type R head purchased from hmotorsonline(HMO)b,honda factory port and polished, it was going to be boosted so i swaped in a pair of gsr cams, its milled .030" and is already taped for ls vtec....cams,cam gears and b16 intake manifold included....

Call people ******* idiots all you want, but the fact remains that you and Brandon both misrepresneted the head. Both of you claimed it was an ITR head and never ONCE did anyone say anything about GSR cams swapped in. You are saying that now after the fact. I asked you to get me in touch with him, you told me you would keep me updated and never said anything back.

It is neither a 1997 CTR nor a 2001 ITR head, it is a 1995 B16 head, the date cods is right on the side.

Because it was ported and I figured it was just fine, there would be no difference between a B16 and an ITR head at that point. My eyes aren't micrometers though, so it was impossible for me to measure the cams at that time. I said this to Brandon: "Are these Integra Type R cams?" His response was, "Yes Matt, they are ITR cams." My point of contention on this whole issue is the cams. I asked specifically, and was told, YES, they are ITR cams, but they are not, they are Useless B16 cams. Then you have a set of CTR cams for sale (mysteriously) they are no longer listed in your sig as soon as this all came out in the open.....strange. At any rate, I'm done arguing with you. Post my name and call me a scammer wherever you want, but the fact remains that I have never scammed anyone nor will I ever. I run a legitimate business and have hundreds of customers and fellow techs in the industry that can vouch for me. How, again, am I trying to scam you?

Anyway, both Shurland and Brandon are the scammers for misrepresenting this head as an ITR one. There is just no talking your way out of this one.

^^^^ C'mon guys, this is Brandon's ad here, his own words. What a liar!!! Anyway, this is part of what I posted in the scammers thread in the for sale section:

SO THIS SEEMS TO BE BRANDON DERENCH'S AND SHURLAND RICHARD'S SCAMMER'S LOGIC:
1. Brandon can't be held accountable because he was selling a head that didn't belong to him. He was only the middle man.

2. And it's not Shurland's fault because although it was his head, Brandon sold it for him and he would have described the head differently.

^^^^ To these first two, I point out that Brandon and Shurland are best friends and pot smoking buddies. They both know exactly kind of car parts eachother owns and both of them are JDM savvy. Plus Shurland had posted a for sale ad back in October trying to sell this same ported head. They both must have noticed that when Brandon posted an ad for an ITR head, it got a lot more responses. Then as Brandon is about to move to Florida, he can just run away from the ugly mess in CT. Also as Brandon is going back to school to finish up and getting his SAE degree in car mechanics, so he shouldn't be able to claim any sort of mechanical ignorance.

3. Lastly, even though the head was clearly misrepresented, Brandon now says that "$375 for a head is a steal." So I guess that lying about the head being an ITR head with ITR cams is okay as long as the buyer gets an item of equivalent value (in the seller's mind) to what was paid.

This sort of logic should not be acceptable or allowed on Honda-Tech or anywhere.
