Recently my ef wagon (just bought it) has been cutting out on me. It died at idle twice...Then on the freeway twice (different day), then it just died earlier and wouldn't start. I changed cap, rotor, plugs and wires....It started, I drove it, then after about 15 mins it died again.

I thought it might be the main relay but I jumped the fuel pump (fuel pump sounded strong) and still no start. I am clueless. Any ideas??? Anyone local in so cal selling a clear plug single cam dizzy? Needed badly, I think. Any other ideas???

 

Hey, I have a similar problem as you! Mine cuts out after 40mins + of driving and then refuses to start sometimes but if I wait 10 mins it starts fine? Something getting to hot? Don't think it is the main relay as that only is only a problem in hot weather normally!

Mine sometimes goes crazy on the rev limiter but it only cuts out when less than a quarter tank!!!

My stab in the dark is the fuel pump or fuel filter for me and probably the FUEL FILTER for you being blocked?? Not sure mind!

 

Main relay and fuel pump checked out fine...fuel filter too. Now i got some time to check out spark etc... Keep you posted. Any other ideas???
