driver side window won't go up or down

driver side window won't go up or down
in my ek hatch i just installed power windows and the driver side wont go up or down. my passenger side is working. i check the fuses and the connection and its all good. i tried a different switch from my friend's civic and it didn't work. also i tested the driver side regulator and it works fine.. please help
