my new turbo's shaft not spinning when idle, everything works fine while driving, neeed help!!! anyone??

 

what kinda turbo is it? new? some turbos dont like to spin at idle

 

Yeah my friend has a b16a with a t3/t4 sc63 and it doesnt spool at idle at all..Its normal when putting a large turbo on a small discplacement motors (excluding rotary motors of course)

 

nice to know cause i was worried sick. other than that it runs smooth and boost properly

 

brand new turbonetics t3/t4, my first one blew oil seals due to high compressor serge, got a new one and it works great other than the boost response is not as good. origonally full boost at 4k rpm, this one full boost at 5krpm, same exact size, what could be the problem.

 

u sure its the same specs as your old one?

 

How big is your Downpipe??

 

the turbo had a year warranty so i sent back and got new one, same specs, downpipe.
