how come 2.6 liter H-series motors are bored and stroked?? Yes it was bored like you said, but looks stroked to me. And aren't the Dart tall blocks for stroker crankshafts too?? And didn't JUN and Toda make stroker kits for the B16?? i'm just shootting the shiat here....

To me it depends on if you were going to sleeve the b20, I have had b20 vtec and the walls are thin, but if you do a gsr you will have to re- sleeve it so in that case I would take a sleeved block over a non-sleeved block any day. Just my thoughts on it.

bored gsr is the way to go, more aftermarket support and its as simple as a sleeved block against a non sleeve. no brainer.

ok... just for FYI... boring over the pistons does very little to power and size. you have to change the stroke, which would be a different crank in order to actually get a significant change in displacement.
now after that, its all up to you. b20 with a vtec head all motor is pretty damn sweet. rode in a EG with that set up, and it was nasty. or go with a gsr for more aftermarket support as stated before, and more available parts.

first of all you don't bore over pistons....you bore out the block...and yes you do get more of a displacement when you do this, you can make the gsr block which is a 1.8l into a 2.0l....changing the rods and crank are changing the stroke... by boring the block you get a bigger displacement which will give you more torque and more horsepower...
