they are gonna be rare cause u have to shave the caliper to get themto fit. hx wheels dont clear 10'' brakes which ALL DA's have

You're an idiot. Don't give people advice anymore if you have NO idea what you're talking about.

Spacers work just fine. That's what I used when I had those wheels on my car.

Brett,

Let's say that YOU were the one that wanted to put HX wheels on your car. You ask if you could use a simple spacer to make the wheels clear the brakes, and some kid tells you:
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by NAisBEST &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">then youre just pushing the wheel further out, and it still wont fit. Shave the caliper </TD></TR></TABLE>
So, you take the advice from the kid that spouts some off the wall **** about pushing the wheel out not clearing the caliper. You would have gone and done a PERMANENT change to your car by shaving material from your caliper when you could have got some dirt cheap *** 5mm spacers and the wheels would fit 100%

Just because YOU would rather shave the calipers doen't mean the OP does, and it doesn't make the shitty advice given by NAisBEST any less wrong.

I don't need you calling me a hater when I call an idiot an idiot. Quit your FUC KING BITCH ING.

exactly, you ruin your perfectly good calipers, and gonna have to fork out $$ when you decide to change your wheels.

Run the wheel spacer like everyone said, and you'll have no probaly what so ever.

i'd space it out, rather than shave the caliper.

Wow, dude, you need to calm yourself down. Theres no reason for name calling through a keyboard. We dont need these type of childish responses on an online information board. A simple, "no i disagree" would suffice.

I purchased a set of wheel spacers from the local auto parts store because my hx wheels wouldn't clear my ex front brake calipers. They're the UNIVERSAL Mr. Gasket - Wheel Spacer, 1/4'' Thick (about 6mm), Fits 4-''4.25'', 4-Lug Bolt Pattern...they did the trick for me. Plenty of clearance and no need for extended studs. $23.00 at O'Reily Auto Parts.

Here they are at JEGS: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs...18581

I think all you need is a spacer for the wheel and it will work. I had a friend with a da with and he didnt shave ****, he just used a spacer.

talk about misinformation. the wheels dont clear by 2mm, all you need is a 3mm spacer from Discount Tire for $10 and you can run them all day long. 3mm isnt going to make any difference at all.
