Star Shield Armor is an invisible bra for your car. Works great, and you can't even tell its there. I have it on my tacoma, and its worth the money. Theres a couple other companies out there, but Star Shield is the best imo. They are located in Irwindale and can do in-house installations or go to you. Arn said it.....it is the best investment.
JunY - who did you talk to over there? They've been super busy this past few weeks, with the LA auto show and other stuff. Give them a call this coming week.
you can see the dark/light line is the film. Works wonders and protects like no other

washed and cleaned after....can't really see it.

My homeboy installs this stuff, only his is through 3M. IMO the 3M film is the best hands down, only like 20 certified installers in the U.S. Check out they're website for a list of installers, or you could pm him....his name is colby here on H-T.

yup. 3M film is the best, and thas what Star Shield uses.
Star Shield also released a new product at the LA auto show. Debris Shield, you basically wipe it on your front end, and it turns into a clear film and you can drive to shows or meets....and when you get home or your destination, just peel it off and throw it away. It's great for a temporary solution.

yeah, I did see that product. But I would would rather have the film; knowing that my front bumper is made out of fiber glass.

i've seen this on a bunch of cars...you cant see it in pics or if you stand more than 5 feet away, but when you get up close, imo it's truly horribly disgusting. where the shield ends and the paint begins, you can see a distinct line (again, only standing close), and i dunno, the shield kills the look of the car close.
but if no one is gonna see your car close, and you want to protect it for photos or whatever, go for it

the film is made to protect your car, it isn't made to make your car look better. IF you wanted to pay, you could have them put the film on your entire car. But the film does what it is meant to do, and that is protect it from rocks/debris/etc. the star shield film is ALOT better then the leather bras. Its invisible, protects your car and doesn't look ugly like those leather bras.

ya, the debris shield is just a temporary thing to drive to shows, off-roading, traveling, etc. If you want the permanent protection...then go with the real deal star shield.

y not protect ur investment? cars already are dead investments...might as well protect it and keep it clean from paint jobs. trust me i know. i've had more than a handful of paint jobs spent a **** load of money on some / total of jobs. i've even went out and got a pos bumper for daily so i didn't have to worry about my painted bumpers. (the 5fwy is a killer on the bumper) honestly starshield is the way to go!!!! best investment on a dead investment.

well said arn
best investment that you'll make on your ride. Paying alot for a car only to have the bumpers messed up driving around OR buying an expensive lip or bumper and having it get messed up. For the one time investment on star shield, it'll save from having to paint and repaint your bumpers/lips.

thats what i did, i had the car painted and let the paint sit for a lil while driving it around and unfortunately the 5fwy took a toll on the freshly painted bumper. soo right before i took it into starshield to get it installed, i touched up the bumper with my left over paint then had them apply the starshield. now its like new still after 4+ months old

alot of the generic "invisible bras" might not use a good material. the 3M that star shield uses is the best stuff. Avery or any other competitors material isn't the same. I've seen some of the "competitors" film, and when they pull it off the car, it leaves a sticky residue on it, where you have to go and scrub it off. With the 3M material, no need to scrub, everything pulls off without a hitch. Also, alot of the generic ones start to turn yellow after awhile.
