I got a B16A in my 90 CRX DX and everythings going alright. Except when I try to shift into 5th gear or Reverse there not there... well reverse is, but its really hard to get into... and 5th isnt there at all somebody help me?

 

how new is your clutch? you could try adjusting it, and hopefully that will help you out, if you have any grinds at all, try using gm synchromesh, that stuff works great

 

Check for loose sloppy or bent shift linkage. Short throw shifters sometimes make fifth gear a chore. Also check fluid & motor mounts. And GM synchromesh fluid is great for the S1 trannies. Good luck!

 

Its a clutch with about 3000 miles on it so its like brand new and a new throw out bearing. I'll try the syncromesh, but I'm gonna try to adjust the clutch. I might just end up bringing it into the shop.
