Default Painting Rims

***I did a Search***

Some stuff came up, but I'm kinda looking for some answers from people who have painted their rims. I'm painting mine black, I plan to do it on Sunday, I'm gonna paint them glossy black, so they have a little shine. Is Rustoleum good for painting rims? Also, what kind of primer should I get? And what grit wet sandpaper do I use?

Anyways thanks for the replies in advance, I'd like to see some pics of your rims if you painted them...later

I just did this to my GSR wheels. They look really good just waiting to get tires and then get some pics up. I used High temp. engine paint (cast coat iron) which comes out as a graphite/gun metal metallic. Then I clear coated them W/ some stuff that is made for wheels. BTW all the products were DupliColor. Good Luck.
