Default 104k on 96 accord, mantience questions.

what should i do to it?

I have only had the tires rotated, and oil changed from what i can remember? I'm due to change the brakes soon, so the fluid will be drained.. and i want to do the tranny but i don't know how to drain it (a/t). Coolant levels and battery have been checked and are ok. What else should i do? Car feels like it needs some mantiance because im getting like 20 mpg mixed driving.

LOF was in there.
As far as a tune-up: pull a spark plug and check the electrodes for erosion. If they look alright, keep on trucking

Valve adjustment, about $100. Timing belt, about $600, maybe more, depending on how many other parts are changed in the process (water pump, seals, drive belts, etc.).

Yes, some other shops can be cheaper. If they change ONLY the timing belt, and nothing else. It will be hard to find a shop that would do it for less than $350-$400. Even if they do the minimum (belt and gaskets).

thats not as bad as 600. i guess i need to just do everything, i can't remember the last time this car was even in the shop. i mean its running fine but i know it should be checked out before i regret it. i've only changed the oil and battery, and checked fluid levels since i got it 2 years ago. Granted, it was driven less than 5k a year. Now its my daily driver, so i wanna get things done.
