Default clutch kit question

Will an Exedy clutch kit for a 2002 1.7 sohc fit in my d16y8? Just asking because my clutch finally gave out and my friend just crashed his car before he got to put in the clutch. Any useful info would be helpful. Thanks H-T

100% it will work
all civics 92-04 d series clutch are the same, part numbers might show up different but they all work vice versa.

Thanks. Contacted Exedy and found out that they are the exact same part number.
