Default Priming a Windshield Washer Pump

ok so I think the windshield washer pump on my EJ has finally bit the dust. When I bought a new pump, the computer at AZ said the pump needed to be primed before installing? Any idea if this is true or not? would I just run the pump with my fingers over the holes before installing?

Nope you should be good. Just put fluid in the reservoir after you install in and you should be good to go.
