Default Aeromotive pump ran dry

Here's a stupid question for you.. I just installed an aeromotive 340 stealth pump in my civic. Not thinking, i primed the pump with absolutely no fuel in it. Probably ran for 3 seconds. A standard prime.. Is that enough to &$#@ the pump?

It's fine. It takes a while for the pump to get hot enough to do damage.

nah... its OK. You would need to run it dry for a LOOONG time to damage a new pump.

That would be no different than a bench test...
