Default 2006 SI with TEIN S-tech springs

This kit is on the way for my civic... This photo was taken from http://www.tein.com

Look like the kit lowers 1.4" front and 1.3" rear.... I have owned Tein, Sprint, Eibach Pro Kit, Tanabe, and Ground Control lol.... Tein levels out the best, rides the nicest (remember nicest is to each their own), and is priced well... This kit is in stock, available and $250

Oh, and gotta love the old school enkei wheels on this demo car LOL

Man the internet sucks @$$ for small shops! With an extra 5% off wholesale for 'sponsorship' through TEIN I paid $150.71 shipped. for devaluing a good product, and creating no market for import shops! It's a brand new product for god's sake...GHEYYYY

I think this pic shows the drop a lil better.... Whenever mine gets delivered... I might want it just a little bit lower... But who knows... I wanna get 18s, so that might be fine// the more i look at the pics.. the more I like this height

Why don't you find out what issues there are from lowering before you decide to slam the car.

I totally agree dude. I used to have a small performance shop then the internet sales blew up. Good thing we also have a 40+ year body shop or i would have been screwed.

It is so hard to even have a store front anymore, we do labor of all sorts from JDM swaps/turbo kits/body kits/wrx, sti, evo... But I just love the ignorance of people in today's society... "I found that catback on ebay for FREE, plus they send a movie on how to install it"... And anytime I post info on any forum, someone brings out the 'yeah but xxxxx has it for xxxx'... Nobody knows or understands that to run a shop you need to pay employees, phone bill, electricity, heat, A/C, etc... everyone is so quick to save $20 then to help support the shop that is hosting the car shows, drag events, autox events, etc... It's seriously going to eventually take most of the shops out of business...

SO TO EVERYONE THAT READS THIS, SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHOP, AND YES YOU MAY PAY A LITTLE MORE, BUT KEEP YOUR MONEY LOCAL!!! In turn that shop will make more money, and hopefully hold more events for you and your friends to test the limits of your cars safely, and legally!

Ok, end of rant

I agree 100%... there is a shop here in sac that does that kind of thing... The owner is a real nice guys. He helped me out a lot with my camber kit. I used to look at ebay for everything, but once I had a problem with a part that I bought, I stay local. That way if theres a problem I can talk to someone face to face.

So just bc I said I might wanna have it just a little bit lower means that I dont know anything about lowered cars? You dont even know me. If you would read my whole comment you would see that I like the height in the pic. Pics dont mean anything until you actually see the car in person and actually feel the ride.

It's not about looks or 'feeling the ride' It's about screwed up suspension geometry and a rideheight that does not allow enough wheel travel.

You're dealing with a car that has front struts. Usually front struts cause issues when lowered too much. The last gen Civic was on the extreme end of this. And until folks start modifying and racing the car, we won't know what works and what doesn't. The drop on those tein springs could be too low...we just don't know yet.

Good Point... That why I dont plan on getting any set up until well after the car is broken in and seeing what everyone else has done... I do not plan on destroying a 20k investment, ive worked way too hard for... Thanks for the input tho

Tein puts some great R&D on all their products. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

Tein roxors the boxors but i believe that is a photoshop. The pic for rsx s.techs, and ep3 s.tech's look low too, only to buy and find out you still have a large wheel gap.
