Default Question to those who have purchased HIDs from "Hids4less.com"

I got my 6000k HIDs today, and I was just wondering something..

The HID kit came in a generic cardboard packing box, with no Philips brochures or anything... Just the ballasts, bulbs, and Hids4Less instructions... My main concern is the fact that the ballasts do not say Philips anywhere on them, but they do say "made in Germany".. I called Hids4Less and the guy told me the "made in germany" is the key, and that most of the ballasts dont say Philips on them.. Is this right? Have you other customers got the same things I have?

Those are not Phillips, they are Hella. Used OEM on Bimmers. I run those from a wrecked X5. They work mint....But are NOT Phillips. Actually you can see the HELLA logo on those ones.

So in essence, Hids4less.com is false advertising.

False claim, Hella is still good so I wouldn't feel too bad. We have some generic visions in stock and I must tell you the Vision 6000k series that most are getting is not even 50% of the quality of the phillips. I'm waiting for some 6000k phillips before these badboys go in the lexus.

Yeah I just got off the phone with them again, they claim that the Hella ballasts are the exact same as Philips, and that if I took apart my friends 4300k ballast, inside of it there will be a "Hella" stamp. I don't care that much, stock in Bimmer's is good enough for me.

Both the Hella and Phillips ballasts look identical based on the above pictures except for the stickers.

Shape and plugs......

Ive had problems with ALL my Phillips sets. Everytime I hit a bump in the road, the passenger side would flicker off. It would take a couple of seconds (30-45) to turn back on. If I turned both back on immediately it would cause both sides to turn off.
I have the same problem... the problem seems to be the wiring, rather than the ballast itself. Remedy = secure the wiring points with extra electrical tape. Haven't had problem since the wiring has been secured firmly.

It kind of looks like they just took the sticker off of the Phillips ballast and then stamped their own specs on there.

Actually I'm willing to bet Phillips puts a sticker over the Hella writing, if anything.
