What companies are good to get fuel lines from? Ones that look good and are durable? Lines like from the fuel filter to fuel rail.
Also, can I use braided steel lines instead of the hard lines, like to and from the proportioning valve, master cylinder, etc?

You win dumbest comment of the year
Just becuase someone may want to dress up the engine bay a little to make it look nicer you label him a ricer? Get of the "your a ricer" bandwagon and lay off the kid unless you want to list everything that you have done to your car. Then we will see just how many of your "upgrades" give you a performance gain

ok I have the dumbest comment but why are you so *** hurt and why are you so busy swinging from the original posters nuts that you have to ask me about my mods ? Just to let you know, dumbass, I am a girl and I have a 01 GSR 100% stock in the engine bay and it has suspension and a camber kit and 01 ITR rear sway...and why does it have suspension ? because it IMPROVES the handling of the car. Why didnt I add a wing, body kit, grounding kit or anything like that ? because it adds NO performance value. So, before you decide to talk **** next time make sure you know what the hell you're talking about stupid noob .... and no I am not a noob I have been on honda tech since the end of 2002 just under a different screenname ...

Some of the fastest cars I've seen (including Hondas) had no modifications under the hood that were of a purely cosmetic purpose. I've seen some dirty, ugly motors power cars to silly fast times. I've also seen some blingy shiny dressed-up engines run 17's and slower in the 1/4-mile. In my experiences, the only cars that are fast and have good looking dressed up engine bays are show cars. So, from what I've seen, the majority of people who dress up their engine bay are ricers....i mean why dress up the engine bay if it's not a show car anyway, how often is the hood really open?
I'm curious to know why he wants to replace the fuel lines as well. If the hard steel lines are rotted out, you can just get pieces of line at any AutoZone or NAPA, bend them to fit, and install them. You could spend a few bucks on a cheap flare tool and tubing cutter too, hard steel lines for fuel, brakes, etc are pretty easy and cheap to make. I don't know why you'd want to go with braided steel instead of rubber though.

Last time I checked honda-tech was not a pure race forum. This is a car forum and you are going to get people that want to have a sleeper and people that want a dressed up car. Not sure why so many people here are too quick to label someone "ricer" and flame the **** out of them.
Who cares if you don't want to do to you car what someone else wants to, last time I checked, that's one of the major reasons people buy cars, to mod them any ******* way they want.
To the OP, check on eGay, I am sure they will have what you are looking for.

First of all, the brake lines are so I can do my way of wire tuck, and no other purpose. Second, I just wanted a longer fuel line because since I did my swap, the fuel line from fuel filter to fuel rail is stretched more than I would like it to be. And yeah, it is also for looks. Also, since I have a eg with gsr swap, nex coilovers, strut bars, comptech rear sway bar, gsr brake conversion, torsion bars and an intake, it's as stock as your car with about the same suspension set up, does that make you a ricer too??? There are "ricers" and "non-ricers" that does the same suspension set up as you do. So, don't be so quick to say who's a ricer and who's not because there is no such thing. It's all on how you like your car to be. So, if anyone has any info on companies that sells these stuff, please let me know. Thanks
you obvously didnt read her post ... she said if it was just for looks then your a ricer.... if there is a reason it is needed then that is different ... but i dont understand why you cant get the right fuel hose instead of installing a aftermarket hose ? i have done engine swaps on eg's before and never had a streched fuel line ... why not just look for one from maybe a integra that will be the right length... or if you need a custom hose i use a company called mr hose ... they will use your current hose and just change the rubber hose and install new clamps (oem looking) they do all hydralic hoses so i am sure they can handle the pressure from a fuel line ...
just FYI, "ricer" isnt the bandwagon anymore its "JDM" cause ALL japanese spec parts are better.
The only real benefit I can see is a slightly more stable fuel pressure, tho with a stock car, the difference will be as negligable as the weight added by the new, heavier stainless line. Now if your gonna run another fuel type, then yea, ditch the rubber.
