i switched my cluster (96 dx to a 99 si) and the mph died after driving for about 3k on it. everything still works on the cluster except for the mph. i've tried using to stock cluster as well but the mph still does not work. the vss was changed but nothing new. when the mph died, it was jumping from 40mph to 60 mph then it just dropped down to 0 mph. i cleaned the connectors (even though there were no corrosion) and nothing new. is this just common for 96+ civic dx/cx when changing it to a si cluster? any one have the same problem but found a solution. help would definitely be appreciated. (by the way i searched and did not come to a conclusion)
