vss code??
Just curious i got a vss code on my 88 crx, well at least thats what the faq says....I didn't think that my car would throw a code for that since it is a cable operated speedo? is there wires that go from the cluster to the computer for the vss??? i'm just curious.... The speedo cable broke when i put the new motor in it so i can see why it would be throwing a code if there is a connection between the cluster and computer.....

Inside the speedometer is a sensor that triggers a pulse
to the ecu..
So yes,if the cable is unhooked,It will throw code 17..
