Default Possible revival of 01-0559

Well guys, just when i thought i was done and out, the insurance company is trying to dick me on the settlement. I've now approached them on rebuilding the car, since I saw their total/salvage threshold and I, after to talking to Neo and Erick think its possible to rebuild for their amount. I am awaiting a call back from the claims supervisor, but need to have some numbers in hand...I'll leave a list below of anything i can think i will need, post or pm anything you think you can help with. I included pix so if anyone sees something not listed...let me know. In the mean time, I am holding off ordering the Scion.

USDM or JDM motor/tranny/wiring harness (a little boost maybe??)
motor mounts
4 wheels
rear suspension
JDM or USDM front end (HID conversion??)
rear bumper
wing
ground effects (damaged in transit of shell)
exhaust (stock may be salvageable)
all 4 rotors
door panels
gauge cluster
center console
rear seats
front seats
carpet
plastics
glove box
rear lights
spare tire

Still can't believe that used to be my car. I say rebuild it. If you need any help, you know where you can find me. Hell we could put it in the shop for a bit.

If you stick with GSR parts you will save a ton of money.

However, if you replace everything with original ITR parts you will come out negative because all ITR parts are still in high demand... heck, thats why they stole your car to begin with.

An ITR rebuild using original ITR parts is only for the hardcore and deep wallets!

Good luck!

Whoa sorry to see it.

There is a guy on Supra Forums under "Other Cars Classifieds" selling a low mileage JDM ITR swap. Worth checking out!

Pretty much everything but the seats, carpet, gauge cluster, engine and tranny, ecu, can be replaced with standard Integra parts saving you a lot of money. Most of that **** can be had out of a junk yard. Revive that sucka!

ecu and suspension is on hand for uber cheap... the exhaust is free (you just pay shipping or pick up in West Palm). Good luck on the rebuild... looks like a mess. I got spooked looking at your pics and ran out to check on mine. If you actually need it then PM me.

hey now thats a good idea. K-series would probably be cheaper and easier than getting a B18C5, thats a rare *** motor. The TSX motor is more powerful, 200hp/166tq, and they can be had a lot cheaper, and you can put the RSX-S 6 speed in it.

OEM ITR parts are overpriced on a lot of places. Ya gotta get creative...example.

Front brake calipers are the same as from a Accord V6, Acura Legend, Acura Vigor, or ya could go Legend GS 2-pot. Might do some upgrading while rebuilding, as it may be cheaper and better. Lotta homework on this one, but it will be worth it. You'll be so proud when its done.

PM me if ya wanna talk about OEM compatibilities. Maybe I can help with your rebuild.

Check the classifieds, lotsa people strip out their ITRs for weight.

I would take down two of those pics. Not such a good idea considering "houligans" prowl around here looking for victims, don't want to help them out any more now do we?

Let it RIP. It's not worth the effort to relive the same risk you are going to face on a day to day basis (presuming you are not moving or relocating elsewhere)

South Florida is a hot zone.
