Default My CRX Ed9 88mod project. (56k Go learn german)

Yes, its been posted before on the EF forum.
Thought it might be more apropriate on the appearance forum.

This is my darling. Ive currently spent 4 years on her. Things have been going slow due to economics and army duty.

The project started with me buying an Honda CRX 88 mod of Nitrox @ Club-Honda and flew around in this one approx a year. Did not have a clue of what owning a car meant at all. After a year with complete idiot driving i finally managed to smash in the front of the car. Left front light, left arch and and a bit of the hood.

Then i thought. Why not just buy everything thats broken un-original and stylish. I bought styling at the worlds most useless tuning/crap shop in the world, AST Performance wich scammed me BIG time. I bought new front lights, carbon hood and complete body kit.

(All places are within Hordaland, Norway)
The styling job were done by Eirik @ Visuell Trafikkopplæring (Visual Trafic School) & co. The paintjob were done by Jondal Bil. Really satisfied with both and all honour to them.

It was really tricky finding the final color. But it came down to Monte Carlo blue. Wich i actually regret. Becouse i love white cars.

One of the engine mounts broke on the old D16A9 engine right before i delivered it to the bodywork so i tore out the engine and got hold of a B16A1. Were a lot more work than i thought. And as usual at the time i started this.- Research was not an option.

But now the car is almost road ready. Just a few more mods before i get it approved as road legal.

B16A1 engine
Isotta steering wheel ( getting that replaced )
Titan Shift ****
DC shortshift
Integra modified axles.
Hasport racing engine mounts
Yellow Koni
Mugen Flared replica bodykit with extra flare. *grin*
Projector headlights With black casing
Altezza three-x round red tail lights (pending for removal)
Hella clear directional lights in front
AZEV 16" alloys
Indiglo discs
Brembo original size brake discs
Green stuff brake pads
Custom throttle wire mount
Custom earthings
Front tower strut bar
Rear tower strut bar
Anti roll lower strut bar front and rear.
Battery moved to the back of the car.

Im very fond of body modifications. And i know that alot of you guys on here will recon that i have ruined this CRX. But know this. Every part on the car is changed and/or renovated. Its like brand new.

I find it alot more challenging to mod a car to become what you want in both appearance and performance than going JDM all the way.

Every part on the bodykit is molded into the cars body. So the only removable parts are the rear and front bumper. Wich are beeing reinforced with an additional aluminium frame.

I havent got an exhaust mounted right now, i've ordered an Invidia manifoil, racecat and catback. But cant afford to post it home at the time beeing.

What it looked like when i bought it

Not me on the picture.

During work

This is how it got looking.

Putting these on when i can afford tires.
