I take my Type R in to Erin Mills Acura in Missisauga, Ontario Canada.....

One of my bulbs in my blinker burnt out..........I wanted them to just give me the part so I could install it myself.............so they made me wait for a mechanic to install the part as they would be liable if i installed it and something went wrong(it was on warranty)

I wait 1 hour for them to install a phucking bulb..........I come out and there are two 5 inch blue and yellow paint marks on the right side of my front lip.......WHAT THE *****..........I am pissed........I talk to the manager and he tells me that he didn't believe the dammage was done on acura property.......even though the marks stick out like black marker on white paper.............I chatted with him for about 5 minutes and tryed to reason with him but he kept on giving the same response........I couldn't take this anymore........I called him a phucking ****** and that was the end of it.........I am so mad

they removed the colors with compound..........but it was kinda dark where we were....I phoned them later when I got home and looked at it in the light.......its not that bad it just pisses me off...............and guys .......I know i shouldn't have called him a ***........but I was enraged.........his employee fucked with my baby and he wouldn't even own up to it.....it was laughable how obvious it was that they fucked with my ****

As a side not I am just so sick about the whole situation I am seriously considering selling my car...........I worry about it too much and it causes too much stress in my life

 

A) Did you find it while at Acura still?
B) If you left the lot, it's too late.

 

yes it was in the lot............I cam out to leave..........and the bulb they replace was right above the marks..........very obvious.........the ***** manager just gave me the same response every time..........and he even brought up how i didn't buy the car at that particular dealership.........can you believe that

I don't get it, if you were at the dealership when you found it, then why were you talking to the manager on the phone? And what good does calling him a *** do? Is that a secret way to get things done?

Should have told them you were going to call the cops and file a report right then and there before you left the dealership. Right in front for everyone to see the damage and the handling of the situation.

hey buzz..........if you ready my posts.....you will figure out that I was in the acura lot when i saw the scratches.......ya okay........it was at the dealership........I don't know many people who go back with their cars.........

Did you point out that he was a PHucking ***? or did you just let him think you meant "*******"? Because, honestly, if you had ensured he knew you meant the PH version, I'm sure he would have helped you out.

I only swore after 10 minutes of chatting went by and it was becoming very apparent that he was going to be a dick..........he repeated the same sentence like 8 times.............."We don't feel this damage occurred on our property"..........

My gosh some of you need to chill. Acura screwed up and he wanted to vent. Don't go off on him because he didn't walk back there with his car. At my dealer they won't let you (I do it anyway) for insurance reasons. Give the man a break.

 

never trust the dealer...the only time most care about the customer is buying a car, or someone paying for repairs out of pocket...with no warranty. i've experienced the same ish before...not gonna with my r

 

Seriously, some of you people need to chill on the 'my car is my whole life' gig. You need to learn to deal with stress and having a nice car. Sorry to hear about your bad luck, but try to take it more in stride. You can learn a lot more about your self when you're under stress than when times are good

 

Not to take over the topic or anything............. I brought my 98 ITR into Deven Acure in Norwalk CT to have a gas canister replaced................Well they did the work and parked my car................I come in later that day to find my car parked 3 inches to close to the wall............ yes it = a new lip and new bumpercover................but hell they covered it with out a problem..............another thing does (...................) = a < p > tag?

 

I don't let any dealer touches my car anymore. Sherway Acura did the same thing to my previous R as well. They refused they did it. There was a 2" x 2" dent on the fender after they did a simple oil change. They said that it was hit on their parking lot by another customer, so they are not liable. Well, what can I say? I do all my work now.... Bringing the car to the dealer is the last thing in my mind when I have any problems with the car.
