Hi, I am looking to buy a new front lip for my EJ1 and I'd like to know your opinion on these three lips:

Honda factory lip: perfect fit


Mugen replica, the RS lip: urethane


Spoon replica, CF or painted: LOW




Please give me your suggestions and comments on the fitting of these lips.

There is no problem with the price of these lips,
just wanna hear some comments about them cause I used to have the type r style lip that wasn't fitting so good to me, having a large border on the bumper corners

Well, the ITR style lip is not so good fitting on the EG...
that's what I jsut sold:



Look at the bumper corners, how the lip border is large
Buy the way I'm from Quebec, so if my English is bad, that's why

And don't mind the projectors, they're gone

 

i personally like the factory lip but i also like the spoon c/f one too

 

either factory or the rs mugen replica

eww no way. that lip is so played out along with the fake mugen lip. I say get oem or the wwrs uurethane lip since they look subtle but enough to make the car look good. the spoon lip is gonna brake on you.

</TD></TR></TABLE>sooooo true. thaat lip is (A) played out (B) ugly and (C) just not worth it. it doesnt fit right with that body style. WW RS lip and the oem are subtle and easy on the eyes. plus they dont attract alot of attention to theives

JDMSHIT stay away from them.

as for the lips: i bought an EG (92-95 civic) lip for my del sol because EVERYBODY on h-t swears it will fit. good job. word of advice to the OP. buy a lip made specifically for your car otherwise you'll end up wasting twice as much money trying to "DIY" the fitment. don't even try to manipulate it if it's ABS plastic. at least with fiberglass it might work.

i have a type-r style lip made for a del sol. nice fitment considering it's not oem

replied because i'm noob status still: do you have any autobody experience? just a question. try heating it perfectly without ruining it. you cannot. try sticking bondo on to it... it will for a short time.

I've had three different jdmshit lips and none of them have had any issues at all. I strongly recommend them to anyone.
Why do you say stay away? Explain why you slander the good name of one of H-T's favorite nock-off parts producers?

And technically abs would be easier to manipulate than FG b/c abs is semi-flexible and becomes pliable when heated.
FG is a hard-resin that will not easily stretch or bend... heated or not.
