Would anyone happen to know if the adjusting arm on the manual mirrors can be taken off? i have SiR tweeter pods w/ tweets that i would like to put in my car. and also, how would you wire the tweeters?

dont think you can use em .... without the arms you wouldnt be able to adjust your mirrors from the inside

 

it doesn't really matter; if i can adjust it on the outside, its fine since i'm upgrading soon to pwr mirrors and windows.

how did you take them off? cut or brake it off?

 

well in my case on my eg... i took off the mirror. looked at the arm to adjust the mirror.. u see 2 phil. screwed holding a piece of metal that holds the arm in place.. take that off and u can pull the arm out.

 

best bet would jus be by takin them off and just start to take things apart, then use common sense to it, dnt b afraid to cut things since u gonna upgrade to power ones! or jus hold of till u get the power ones and resell your originals for sum moolah! Peace!
