The best system will be a layered one. Don't get so wrapped up in $$$ that you
overlook the basics. Remember the Highest or flagship model may still not
be the best for your application. Heres things to look for.
- all entry points protected!! (doors, hood, hatch, trunks)
- immobilizer (single,dual,triple) starter,ignition,fuel
- dual stage shock sensor (light and heavy hits)
- digital tilt motion sensor
- glass/audio sensor
- dual zone radar ( if its a convertible or has sunroof)
- battery backup
- remote activation (doorlocks-a given now,hatchs-trunk releases)
upgrades
- gps tracking
- horn honk upon triggering (louder the better)
- strobes
hope this gives you some ideas.

Are people really this lazy these days that they can't pull up a manufacturer's website and get this information themselves? Or are people just not intelligent enough (or lack dedutctive reasoning skills) to read (and comprehend) the information that is on that website?
Go to Directed's site, and you'll see which one is their top of the line... Here's a hint... It's part of the G5 series....
Cheese and rice...

That’s just the remote. The system CPU itself is the most advanced Clifford system Directed has ever made, with 3-point immobilization and three separate sensors: digital tilt sensor, OmniSensor and remotely adjustable proximity sensor, with BlackJax anti carjacking, Smart Self-Powered Siren, 3 auxiliary outputs and built-in relays.
The AvantGuard 5.5X is simply the state-of-the-art 2-Way vehicle security and convenience system in the world.

Before you even attempt to make an issult. Clifford ( like many sites) doesnt even have all the info. and even worse site is http://www.compustar.com/ which have absolutely no information period!
I know there is a 950 and 850 but I see no reference to the 850 at all. the 950 is mentioned only ONCE and there are no details. for teh most parts when it comes to anything pertaining to cars most manufacturers websites are useless. another example go to ferrea.com and please tell me if you have any clue if their 6000 valves are one peice or two peice and what material they are made of.

I have the 10.5x it does what you need. as lpong as the installer is a good one. I have all entry levels covered glass break, back up siren and battery, horn honk when my alarm goes off. and extra fuel kill switch I did myself. and it's a 2 way, and it has tons of range. I can go on the next street to my friends house and set it off. It's good with radio frequencies in the area as well. only other thing you need is tilt if your scared of it being towed away. In my area they like to steal radios so My 2 way works fine.
All about who installs it though. get a 2 way
