I got bored and took some ultra crappy pics of my '91 Golf. I picked it up last month. It's got 80k and it's pretty clean besides some little dings and scratches and a sagging headliner. Mods so far are Techtonics catback, Bonrath single wiper, 16v front spoiler, and smoked lenses all around. The real mods will come after winter.

I know most ppl on here won't appreciate this car but what the hell...

 

Is it like a tradition for all VW owners to smoke their lights? It looks horrrible on these pieces of crap. And its a GOLF. Only mod you should have done is the windshield wiper. Worst car ever. Stop Modding that piece, and drive it off a cliff.

 

Looks to be pretty solid

I don't like that front end though. Tons of potential never the less.

This is what I'm talking about. And I didn't smoke the lenses. They are smoked lenses.

I disagree with the statement that the golf has more potential then a civic. But I do agree with the hate part.

To the OP go single round and dump it on some nice Ronal Turbos or something. What about the motor?

Well I have an '87 GTi that I'm parting out, so I'm swapping a lot of parts over from that. Stuff like; the G60 motor, G60 11" front brakes, rear discs and 25mm rear sway bar.
