Doing a H22A swap into a 96 Accord and need help!
Just signed up to the board tonight and I need help with this...I'm not a Honda guy...I own a 01 WS6 so I'm not a big import guy so dont poke fun at me if I dont use the correct terminology.
I have a co-worker that is paying me to install a JDM H22A into his 96 Accord. Here is a list of things that are already done:
-F22 Pulled
-F22 engine harness moved to H22A engine
-EGR, IAC, and other sensors wires extended to reach.
-Distributor wiring was different on both cars, as the F22 used a CKP sensor down by the crank pulley, whereas the H22A's is in the distribtor....so I ran wiring over to the distributor and got that all wired up.
-Bracket made for throttle cables (F22 bracket mounted farther back than the H22A bracket did)
Here are my problems now:
-Driver side motor mount is different (we have a prelude motor mount on the way)
-We have a OBD2 to OBDI conversion harness from Boomslang, and for the life of me I cant figure out where the long pigtail goes to. It has 3 main sets of connectors....one set plugs into the new H22A ECU, the second set plugs into the ECU connectors that used to plug into the F22 ECU, and then there is about 2 feet of wire going to another set of connectors...but I dont know where these go. Someone said it goes to the tranny control module, but I dont know where that is. I was looking under the passenger side dash and also under the center console and cant find it. All I can find is the airbag module and the ABS module. Which by the way, the connectors fit perfect into the ABS module...
With the one end of the boomslang harness plugged into the new ECU and the other end plugged into the harness connectors on the car (with the long pigtail still disconnected) the car cranks but wont start. We can smell fuel, and we are getting spark...I'm assuming it has something to do with me not being able to find where this other plug goes from this boomslang conversion harness.
Sorry for the long schpeel, but I need some help here!

i am pretty sure the reason no reply is because they all want u to search for it on the thread. there are plenty of threads on here about swaps. specially the h22 into an accord. i would give u all the info but i am no where near as informed as u, plus too lazy too look for it.
