Baring a car with a JDM motor.

Can you bar a car in cali with a JDM motor? If so what do I need to do?

for starters, you need:

a motor that is the same year or newer than the car it's going in
all the emmissions equipment
USDM ECU

there's a big thread if you search for it. it should be archived. but yes it will pass depending on what you have on the car. that's just a broad explanation...

Don't you mean same as the motor.
