Default d16y7 in old school ef ???'s

i want to put a d16y7 in my 84 civic 1500s and i wonna know if it would swap right

Not a clue. EF-EK is sorta one engine bay size. The 84 took a D series right? Thing I'd worry bout is clearence, mainly from intake manifold. Rememeber the y7 is not the most powerful, at 106hp it was the weakest 96 motor honda had here. However there cheap, like 300$ with tranny sometimes. If your car has a D-series in it, I'd say most likely itll fit, and i think you had like a D14 or somethin back then. The M/T should clear, no clue on A/T fittin.
