If you want more power, why not just get the V6?

a new V6 6 speed accord would be chaeper than the cost of a new 4cyl accord + a good turbo kit IMO

if you car is automatic, you will have to wait for real engine management. if you have stick shift try the aem ems and then using the revhard turbo manifold and custom i/c piping you can have a turbo kit.

the v-6 is way better on power, but am i the only one that thinks the 6 speeds is a waste?? feels like its just a bunch more shifting w/o any advantage.

The 6 speed is an advantage, (more accelleration and power), but you have to enjoy shifting. Shifting can be fun, sometimes. Most times just a hassle. Auto's are a much more relaxed way of driving. It's much harder to drink my coffee in the morning if I'm driving my truck (manual). And shifting can become a pain, in stop and go traffic.

I've been debating whether or not to swap to 5 speed. I don't know how to drive one though. I've been in 5 spd cars and ppl driving usually express discontent for their manual trannys.

Well manual transmissions are cheaper to fix then automatics. That's one way to look at it. But your right, you have to like shifting to really enjoy it.

A turbo kit goes for like 6K plus installation and tunning you can get a V6 accord for 28K or if you look around long enough you can get a 6th gen for $9 to 18K depending upon year, options and milage (V6 version) or, you can do what I did, buy a car in immaculate condition with a busted trans and rebuild the trans. I got my car for $6K and the trans was $3K and the best part is it is the lightest of the 6th gen V6 accords (LX-V6)

Im pretty sure there is no turbo or supercharger kit specifically for the k24 yet. ive done plenty of research on it. and shifting is not a big deal at all, after a while it becomes second nature. however, coffee in hand, it is a different story
