I just got this car for free so I know its going to have issues.

Anyone else here have a leak of oil around the distributor area? If so how did you go about resolving the issue. Its quite a mess on my tranny, and down the backside of the engine. I think its been happening allot to the previous owner they just never did anything about it.

thre is a gasket on the dizzy that is probably shot. replace that and you should be fine

 

replace the o ring in the inside

Valve cover gasket, vtec solenoid gasket, or dizzy o-ring, could be any of the three. Mine ended up being the vtec solenoid gasket.
