Hey I was just wondering if i could drop in a sohc swap from out of a 95 dx hatch into a 96 dx hatch? Are the mounts different? Should i use ecu from the 96 cause i thought those were obd-2 so i could not use the one from the obd-1 motor without some sort of piggyback harness correct? Can anyone shed some light on what issues could arrise? header cat connection? wiring problems???

 

Direct swap, except for the computer I think, I would swap all the computer and wiring from the 95 to the 96 to convert to obd1, because apparently its better or easier to tune if that seems like something in your future.

u can use it, get a jumper harness and use ur obd1 computer that way u can use ur same distributor..the driver side mount is different
