Default F22 TB

ok i was doing my IACV (EACV) and FITV testing by putting my finger over the holes in the TB to test for suction/functionality of these parts.

on my civic the bottom hole was the FITV and the top hole was the IACV.

now at cold idle both of these suck in air, covering the bottom one makes it idle poor/sputter. covering the top one makes it idle around 800 rpms or so.

at warm idle, covering the bottom one kills the engine, and covering the top one makes it idle normal.

that tells me that the top is actually the FITV and the bottom is the IACV.

can anyone clarify this...the helms didnt have anything about the holes in the TB except for the h22.

on the H22 the bottom hole is the FITV and top is IACV (just like my civic)

so which hole in the TB is which part on the f22a1?

On the f22a1, they are not part of the throttle body. They are separate units mounted on the front of the intake manifold. The one closest to the T/B is the IACV and the other one is, well the FITV.

yes i know that. but if you look in your TB there are two holes on the side close to the firewall, they have suction, because 1 leads to the FITV and 1 leads to the IACV. i need to know which is which.
