93 Si with JDM F22B - D4 Codes: 1L, 1S, 2S, 8S
I've been searching for D4 (A/T) codes for hours with no success and could really use some help. If this info has already been posted, I CAN'T FIND IT!
My H23A went completely south and I had a JDM Accord F22B installed - no mods, bolts right up, but doesn't have the high end cams of the H23A. Other than that, the F22B is a great swap for an older Si... and costs much less than an H23A - like $1,000 less, but doesn't have quite the high end power of the H23A. But for an older Lude its fine IMHO.
The D4 indicator in the cluster is throwing the following flashes/codes: One Long, One Short, Two Short, Eight Short: 1L, 1S, 2S, 8S. The engine starts very hard when cold... like below 40 degrees, and is very hard to keep lit until its been running for a few minutes. When its warm it runs great, but is still throwing the 1L, 1S, 2S, 8S codes.
I've GOT the FACTORY manual on CD and STILL can't figure it out. Can somebody help this mechanically-challenged Lude owner? The local dealer won't touch it because of the JDM F22B in it.
Thanks
