Your advice needed - current RSX or next generation Miata / Kabura
Hi all, long time RSX fan here, wasn't going to register until I got my RSX, but forced to get some opinions here. Been posting around to get opinions. Anyways, I was all set to buy one in the next 3 weeks, but just these two days I saw pics of an upcoming Miata based car called the Kabura. I wasn't considering waiting that long to get a car, but the pics of this thing really made my jaws drop. Should I get RSX now or wait in hopes that they make the Kabura. Opinions?? Thanks. If you never heard of the Kabura, here is some info - http://www.kaburaforums.com/fo...p?t=7

Sweet.
Oh wait, you meant the car. Yeah, it looks crappy, like some bulbous 350Z which is ugly as is. I mean the 2 chicks are nice, they can get nasty on my hood.

its looks interesting, a lil too futuristic for me
if i were you id just get a Type-S now and have fun rather than having to get 3-4 years older
just my .2 cents

If it really ends up coming out 3-4 years later I guess I can buy RSX now and trade-in. Time to do some research on trade-in values of RSX after 3-4 years
Do all concepts take at least that long to be put into production?

Any idea if Mazda has a high rate of making a concept vehicle actually happen? What about Honda and other car manufacturers. Sorry I know this is a Honda forum but this place is real busy so hoping to get some good insight here.
you kiddin? RSX versus a miata??
RSX HANDS DOWN!!! RSX is sexy lookin, the miata is girly. Who knows what this concept will end up as tho.

That thing looks slick. Looks small, too -- wonder how good it handles. It's got a lot to live up to if it's to be the Miata successor.
Driving-wise, the Miata is a freakin' blast. I've only spent a few minutes in one, but it was at a Mazda zoom-zoom live marketing event where I got to hammer it around an autocross-style course. Great balance, great response to the throttle, great seating layout (wheel & pedals were right where you'd want them; shifter could be higher, but my EP's shifter spoils me).
Depends on what you'd want to do with the car. The RSX really is more practical; the Miata (or probably Kabura, too) would be more of a kick to drive hard.
