Default greddy 15g: how much can you push it?

whats the highest psi/horsepower have you had your 15g greddy turbo to? im planning on maxxing mine out and was wondering if it would be within my goals or if im gonna need a bigger turbo. like to stay with this one though since its brand new. im at 10psi right now making a little over 200 whp&torque

It'll spike to 16-18 psi, but only hold 15 psi. About 250 whp. Do a search for posts made by me, I have a lot of info already posted in older threads.

yeah im only shooting for 250 hp on stock bottom end but i dont think that 15g would be a good choice to do it i mean i know it can be done but i wonder how long that little turbo would last....

Well i know that people have pushed the 18g's around 15-18psi, as for the 15g's a flow chart will help in aiding the answering of your questioning. As for fitment i know that 18g's use T-25/28 flanges as well as the 16g's but i am not positive about the 15g.

i know i made 190whp and 190 ft. lbs. on 10psi UNTUNED AND WITH A BLOWN HEAD.

i would get the 18g if i could also find the 18g downpipe..

I had a friend back in the day that had a fully built sohc by JG, full headwork, and a greddy kit (donno why...). He ported the wastegate on the greddy kit to help hold higher boost and was able to make 304whp with it on race gas. Im sure hes pushing alot of hot air, but on race gas its all good.
