Check your sensors... If one of them got busted during the transplant, the car may not start. I know that when I did my swap, my MAP sensor was bad, and it took ALOT of cranking for it to finally start. Is your ECU showing any codes? It sounds like a sensor problem to me, so thats where I would start.
