Well... I got these rims for $400 with tires. They looked ok, but I wanted something better... so I did this

They are alot shiner than in the pic... poopy camera
I did not bring it all the way doen .. I kinda like how it stil has a machined look to it. I can still take the edges down and they would look like mirrors, but it is just not my style. What ya guys think?

Would also like to know which center cap you used.

I am not sure if I follow what you mean. If it is the very center section, that is just some overspray from the stripper.
And as far as the centercaps... I dunno. I had it lying around and threw it on. I will be finding out as I need more. I will keep this thread updated as to what they are. They do not fit as they should so I may go to something else

Well stripped them. I wanted to keep a machined kind of look so I went at them with real light paper and not for very long... then just hand polished them. Make no mistake it was still hard work. I was thinking of making them all smooth but... I just do not like the way they look

Ok, I have been getting a ton of PMs about this. As far as the sanding... that is kinda up to you... the smoother you make the surface with fine grit sandpaper.. the more mirror like it is gonna look when polished.
And as far as the stripper, i have used MANY typeson many projects. But hands down this is the best stuff I have ever used. Mar-Hyde Tal-Strip 2. It comes in a normal can that can be brushed on, and the spray can. The spray will get you better results, as it applies more even than a brush would. I also like the fact it is deactivated with water. But, a few things to tell all of you.....
This stuff can burn your skin. And prolonged exposure can also lead to nerve damage, and brain damage. It seeps into your skin! Also please use this in a well ventilated area. It is also best used in a warm area.
Use your ******* brain here boys and girls... read the directions! And be safe
