Default Car wont start at all

I drove to the gas station last night no more than a mile down the road, got to the pump and was just idling for about 15 seconds and then the car just died. I go to restart it, and nothing, just cranks and cranks and cranks, then eventually flooded it with the smell of gas really strong. went to check spark, had spark.

Everything is plugged in, but one thing is that when the key on engine off, the IACV makes this loud noise like its running or something, and then i unplug it and it goes away, until i plug it back in. not sure why it would make that loud noise but i've never heard it before. I dont know if that would cause me to completely not start either.

My set up....99 ex, d16y8 stock, greddy 15g kit, p28 chipped ecu running crome. any idea where i should look next to a no start w/ fuel, and spark?? im going to check compression when i get the car home, but that would be odd to lose compression at idle like that.

alright, well i went to get the car today, started it up and it was missing like crazy, popping and all other noises you can think of. so i drove it home, no power of course thinking maybe i could kick out whatever it was but it didn't. shut it off at home and then tried start it again and it wouldn't even start, just turns over and floods. i have a new cap and rotor that isn't more than a year old and it seems to be getting weak spark on cylinders 1 and 2 where the plugs were quite fouled out.

think i need a new cap and rotor again???

Did you use the right kind of fuel?

I had a similar problem, a couple injectors were getting stuck open. At least thats what I think was worng. I had a spare set so I changed them and it worked.

Just a thought

yea i have spark, cyl. 1 and 2 were fouled out big time, really carboned up while 3 and 4 had normal color. I got the car running again, not sure how, but it started again, no misfires, nothing. the cap and rotor seem just fine, no corrosion or anything. im lost for ideas right now until it happens again. i think it was a spark problem myself, because you can def. smell fuel, just wasnt sure if i was getting TOO much fuel, almost like the oil smelt of fuel.

I actually just replaced my supra 440's with the resistors with precision 525cc's so i wouldn't have to use resistors and the car ran so much nicer. just weird how it happened at idle out of nowhere.
