I think it comes down to preference. I have the Skunk2 (old one) and still made power with it. I did port & polish the intake runners. If you want to keep the stock manifold, look at blacktrax.net. They have a service available for the stock manifold.

i don't like Skung2 much and its h22 im doesn't have good rep.

if i wanted a good im and couldn't spend the $$ for a racing ome i would buy a stock euroR (or TypeS) IM and have a port & polish work on it.

the euro r and type s IMs are different, the euro r would be worth getting, while the type s is the same dual runner one thats on your car now...

you can get the iab plate taken off and then ported.

I don't know why everyone is knocking the S2 IM. I mean sure it's a pain to put in, but I noticed my midrange is feeling a lot fatter. There is a loss in torque below 4, but that is to be expected. You can't have everything free.

true ....

alot of tuners ive spoken say that manifold is worth like 3-5 up top and thats it..

id rather keep torque low end to get my *** going than carry 3-5 hp up top

i bought the skunk2 manifold and put it on my hatchback with a jdm h22 in it. it also had hotshot header exhaust ctage 4 clutch fidanza flywheel and a race headlight with no fans on when i dynoed with my stock p13 and i made 193 wheels hp and 169 foot pounds of tourqe. my friend with all the same **** i had done to mine except the IM made 192 but his was tuned on hondata s200. so in my oppinion its worth it.

i put more hp down than you with just an rmf header, stock IM

looks like all that money you spent on the race headlight didnt pay off....damn

back to back dynos of the two are the only data that matters here....
