Heat shield for turbo kit question.

Default Heat shield for turbo kit question.

I have been having issues with the heat shield rattling you think it would hurt lots to remove it?

maybe dynamat it, some type of padding that can resist heat. maybe take out the heat sheild and wrap your piping that is above the manifold

90% of turbo setup on here dont have heat sheild we are still running strong.

but is the piping on a turbo kit usually that close to teh manifold. it looks like there is only like 1 inch clearence between the manfold and the piping

it is really close I thought about just wrapping the manifold. ??

yea, i would do that. but i herd that wrapping can make it more prone to cracking, not sure if it is true

find the reason that the shield is rattling, then fix it, and life will be good again.
