im new here and this is my first question...Ok so its not much but i did what i could. I have just started college and ran out of money. Its a 95 with about 113k on it. Stock D15b7 and worst of all AUTOMATIC!! (yah i know) No real performance mods other that exhaust. Just wanted to have everyones opinions on how much they think i could get for it. Also i can get a b18 off of a second gen integra for a hundread bucks with an auto tranny. it needs a new head gasket but i wonder if swapping that in would change how much i could get for the car. Would it be worth swapping? Just lemme know how much you guys think i could get for the car as is and with the swap. Thanks for all the help

 

You'd have to pay me to de-rice the thing! j/k, but seriously, you'd get alot more for it here with the stock body peices on. get some nice oem peices cheap and it will sell 4 alot more.

yah i was thinking about going back to oem bumpers but im an idiot and i threw mine away when i put the kit on. i mean i was looking to at least get 3k as is. i also forgot to mention it has tokico shocks and eibach pro kit springs. i guess i really just wanna know if swapping the b18 would be worth the cost of putting it in. like would i be able to get back what i put in to swap it and still make some more money off of it? and i live in miami, im sure when i do put it up for sale there will at least be a few calls.

 

i doubt u will get 3k for that. maybe the b18 motor with a b16 tranny maybe get like 3.

you coud get 3500+ if it had a b18 swap in it, with the ricer kit and all

lol damn you guys are harsh! i get the point its ricer-ish. this was my first car i just wanted it to look flashy or w/e. trust me by now my taste has changed. i wanna sell to get a DB8. no body kit or anything this time just white and cf. i've learned my lesson. and yah i was thinking about ebay. so maybe ill go ahead and pay the $100 for the b18 and fix it up a little and then try and sell it on ebay. still would like more opinions. keep the suggestions coming on what i could do to get a little more for it. thanks

 

honestly not everybody wants a honda for speed there are alot of people that are just show . i know a couple of people where i live at that would buy it in a heart beat. theres gonna be a lot of people that will say it wouldnt sell becuase they think it ricey but if you came in here with a almost complete stock car with some jdm fenders, jdm bumper, jdm headlights, and a jdm bumper poll they would be all over it....................please dont ask we why i dont even know

 

i agree with dewoine, not everyone wants a honda for speed, or people like to do show before speed cus face it, its cheaper.

For being a Riced out civ, it dont look to bad...but then u say it has a d15, and it just went to ****. Make the car fast befor you put wings on it.

 

3k is a little high. the things is that body kids and other mods really wont make you a whole lot of money, your other downfall is that it is an auto!

depending on whos looking at it , i guy down here bought a 94 coupe with a d15b7 and wings west kit on it blueberry blue with white flames paid 4400 me personlly wouldnt have bought it but he loves it and thats all that matters. hell im pretty sure a female buy it in a minute

auto to manual swap done by shop around me...if your mechanically inclined then you can do it yourself..meaning its cheaper..buts its a 850-1000 out the door w/ nothing brung..
selling those dubs..lower spoiler...kit..could add up to alot of money on egay..like someone earlier stated...people love that **** on egay


so if you paid 3k for that...you would have 4500 into a florida hatchback...it appears to have no rust which is huge for me and its clean otherwise from the bodykit and dubs..and thats not selling any of the pre-existing ****

EG's have been getting plently of good hipe so i'm sure you could pull 3k for it..someone could build it them selves proboly for 4k and have a D16z6 full swap.

i dislike the EG body style..but its worth 3k good luck

Yah i kinda figured most people on this site wouldnt really want it. i wasnt planning on putting it for sale here although it probably couldnt hurt. Ok so if i get the b18 for $100, i know it needs a head gasket and probably some other smaller items. around how much do u guys think it would cost between buying it fixing w/e needs to be fixed and actually putting it in?

if you took off those ugly *** bumpers it wouldnt look bad. oem is your friend. dont swap it. leave it how it is. replace the bumpers. get a stock exhaust and then sell it.
