The sound of rain.. and its making me angry
I dont really know where this post belongs. But since i read this forum the most, ill post here..
So has anyone ever come across this....... Its raining inside my door...... I took my door panels off today because i heard the sound of water running inside my car... After ripping it apart to try and find where it was coming form i located it inside the drives door.. A whole lot of water
. My Stock speaks were so corroded. I even tried to take them out to clean them up and they just fell apart, which leads me to believe this isnt the first time its happened...
I really dont know what to do or why this is happening... Any adive would be great.. Water belongs on the outside not the inside...

Your car might have been oil sprayed in its history. Some places drill small holes in panels to spray oil in, check to see if any exist. It's a remote possbility.
not sure how a lot of water is in there unless the dain holes on the bottom of the door are clogged. They aren't big... just little slices... but check the bottom of the door to make sure those are open. It will not make water stop coming in, nothing perfectly does that... even dew etc... but it will keep it from accumulating into a lot like you said.
ok lets start with telling us what kinda car it is, if its a Sol, it might be leaking in thru the targa and somehow getting into your door. if its not a Sol, check all your weather stripping. if it all looks fine, go to autozone or advance auto parts or your local car parts store, whatever, and get some rubber rejuvonator, this might help. (lil explination about the rubber rejuvonator: rubber is made with oils. over time as anything, these oils are released from the actual rubber making it hard and brittle (im sure you've seen that before) what rubber rejuvonator does is put the oils back into rubber bringing it back to its original density and strength. this might fix your problem, good luck

Its a 94 civic coupe. I have all my side molding on.. far as i know they have never been taken off.. The weather stripping along the inside of my door seem to be ok, but i will take the advice and use some rubber rejuvonator on the weather stripping... As for the car being oil sprayed.. I do live in a city that loves to put lots of salt and sand on the roads during the winter months, so the car has been rust checked(sprayed) I cheched the car out pretty good and doesnt seem to be any holes of any sort on/or around the doors.
About the only thing i can think of is the window seal itself.. That piece on the outside of the car door that butts up to the window. Iam not really sure what the technical name for that would be.. Ive tried to call around looking to see if there is a replacement part, but everyone i talk to thinks iam on crack and has no clue what iam talking about..... I even tried a few auto wrecker and came up with nothing.. unfortunately i live in a hick city where everyone drive big domest trucks and not alot of places to get import parts. So i look to all you great people for help
