Well, just make sure that you get the OEM one, not a fiberglass copy. You'll be much happier in the end.

Call the seller and ask. Fiberglass parts (the knockoffs) generally do not fit right, and they crack a LOT easier than the OEM urethayne stuff.

Yeah, I know - but still, a lot less prone to snapping or cracking if you accidently hit something or something hits you. The metal fenders are also a MAJOR plus over fiberglass because I hear they can crack from the stress they undergo during cornering.

I got my JDM HID front (minus hood) yesterday for $1400... no joke. Mint condition headlights too. I know your not in NY, but for anyone that is, you should check out JDM Star motors in Albany, NY. PM me if you want the number.

Your best off checking local JDM importers and going and picking it up and negotiating. I found prices to be around 1100-1400 for non-HID was pretty standard. If there is nothing nearby, I've never had trouble with Hmotors and their prices are reasonable.

Japan Star is awesome. I got my HID front end from them when they were in VA almost a year ago. I was trying to get that front end for my friend too. I hate you

I'm thinking about giving JapStar a call Monday and seeing what other parts they just happen to have for a DC.

Yeah, they've got great prices. Its always better to go see the product in person. It makes negotiation much easier and much more effective since its easy for them... they can just take your money, make room for new inventory and you can be on your way. I was there for over an hour, but it was all worth it when I walked out with a JDM HID front for less than I ever imagined I could get a non-HID for

True....but if its cold as hell outside to where your bumper "hardens"....a good enough impact ( even at slow speeds ) will still crack an OEM bumper. How do I know? It happened to me a few weeks ago I have a hole in my bumper now where the "pieces" broke off. Now...I'm looking to get another OEM front bumper.....

Yeah, I got a better deal on mine for actually picking it up from Japan Star. The guys there are good guys too. I call em up, tell em who I am and they remember me, almost a year later. I told em I was looking for another front end for a friend and they were giving me better deals for it. They take care of and appreciate their return customers. When I first bought mine, they were real honest with the condition of it and offered to send me pictures so I didn't drive 3 hours for nothing. I took there word on the condition without seeing pics and it was the same as they described. I was kinda upset when I couldn't find a way to get in touch with them after their move, cuz I was looking for some more parts. Ended up going with PasswordJDM, but now that I've found their number, I'll be giving them a call first before looking around.

I would like to do a JDM front end conversion but I just don't care for the factory JDM ITR bumper. I prefer the Mugen or the Cwest bumpers instead.
